Fifth World Built Environment Forum at Expo 2020 to design a better, urbanized world

Connecting 100+ countries, 500+ senior leaders, and more than 50 future thinking speakers, the World Built Environment Forum will take place from 24-25 January 2022 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo 2020. The forum aims at drawing on a new blueprint for prosperity, wellbeing, and most importantly, liveability across the urbanized world with help and inputs from investors, innovators, and influencers.

The fifth edition of the initiative by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the forum brings together a community of global leaders from private, public, academic, and non-profit sectors who will convene to take up key issues, challenges, and opportunities in the built environment said a statement from RICS. Established in 2016, the WBEF is a platform dedicated to shaping the future of the built environment by discussing, debating, sharing ideas, and innovating to ensure the creation of sustainable places for all to live, work and play. “As with many cities across the Middle East region, Dubai has grown exponentially to become a key investment hub in the world, and we are excited to bring the Forum to the region, so together with global industry leaders and influencers, we can develop holistic solutions that create better communities,” stated RICS.
